Pavel Kriz elected as new President of Eurobitume

ExxonMobil’s Pavel Kriz was elected as President of Eurobitume at the association’s recent Spring General Meeting, where a new Vice-President and Treasurer were also elected, and a new Board of Directors was appointed.

Pavel commented: “I am honoured to have been elected Eurobitume President at such an interesting and exciting time for the organisation”, stated Pavel. “During my 12-month tenure, my priorities include ensuring Eurobitume continues to meet the needs of its members, effectively implementing the new internal structure and supporting the delivery of the eagerly awaited 8th E&E Congress, which will take place in Budapest in June 2024.”

The new senior officers elected at this meeting, held on 17th April 2024, are:

Pavel Kriz, the new Eurobitume President, is Principal Asphalt Product Engineer for ExxonMobil. Previously Eurobitume Vice-President, Pavel joined Eurobitume’s Board of Directors in 2021 and has been an active member of the vision & strategy review task force and the AI/EB leadership group. He has presented technical papers, including podium presentations, at numerous E&E Congresses and has authored over 30 technical papers and several patents.

Eurobitume’s new Vice President is Fabrice Blanc, who is VP Bitumen for TotalEnergies and is based in France. Dave Foster, the Country Business Manager responsible for the UK and Ireland cluster at Shell, was appointed as the new Treasurer of Eurobitume, having spent the previous year as Eurobitume President.
